When I set my mind to something, there's no stopping me! Saku Neko was born when I was deep in a Hello Kitty hunt, only to realise that the UK’s offerings just weren’t cutting it. I craved unique, adorable Hello Kitty memorabilia that no one else had, so I turned to my Japanese sources and quickly found myself in kawaii heaven. I snagged several vintage Hello Kitty plushies for myself and thought, why not share this joy with others? I listed a couple on Vinted, and they were snapped up in no time. That inspired me to create a whole website to showcase my treasures, making them available beyond just Vinted.

You might be wondering, how do bags fit into this? Well, one day while browsing Vinted, I fell in love with a vintage Coach bag. Sadly, it sold while I was still debating the splurge. This bag lived rent-free in my mind for days until I realised Japan not only loves Hello Kitty but also adores secondhand designer bags! I went back to my Japanese sources and found the exact bag I’d been dreaming of (I may or may not be staring dreamily at it rn). I discovered hundreds more gorgeous bags and thought, how could I not share these pretty treasures with you?

And just like that, Saku Neko was born out of my love for vintage finds. I hope you adore them as much as I do.
